Skoolix is looking for a “Product Owner” in Alexandria, with the following requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Define and prioritize the product backlog: You’ll work with stakeholders to understand business needs and prioritize features, user stories, and bugs to ensure the development team is always working on the most valuable tasks.
  • Write clear and concise user stories: You will be responsible for creating detailed user stories with acceptance criteria that effectively communicate requirements to the development team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: You’ll be the key liaison between stakeholders, designers, and developers, ensuring everyone is aligned on the project vision and goals.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies: You’ll be an active participant in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Project Management: You will be responsible for overseeing project timelines and deliverables, coordinating with various teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
  • Accept completed work: You’ll review and accept completed work from the development team to ensure it meets the defined criteria and quality standards.
  • Monitor project performance: You’ll help track key metrics and user feedback to inform future project decisions.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar role within a software development environment.
  • A solid understanding of agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with product management tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
  • Experience with basic project management principles and tools.
  • Certifications are a plus: Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) or a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Fluency in English

Administrative Assistant

Skoolix is looking for a “Administrative Assistant” in Alexandria, with the following requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage travel logistics and reservations for the team.
  • Manage and maintain admin records and invoices.
  • Maintain standardised templates/process for contracts.
  • Review and highlight contracts terms to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Organise and store soft copies of all contracts.
  • Manage and maintain petty cash and money collection process.
  • Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly reports for CEO and CFO.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluency with English language, (fluency with other languages is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of MS Word, Excel. Power Point, Google tools and report generation tools.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Experience with bookkeeping and documents management.
  • Experience in EdTech, SaaS, or education-related industries is a plus.

Account Manager  for Schools and Educational institutes

Skoolix is looking for a ” Account Manager ” with the following requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
  • Address all customer-related queries on time.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Develop trusted advisory relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide Skoolix’ team with the customers’ feedback to help identify potential new features or enhancements.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
  • Prepare reports on account status.
  • Identify opportunities to expand relationships with existing customers.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or Computer Engineering.
  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role.
  • Solid technology background with knowledge of the mobile apps’ ecosystem.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
  • Communicate effectively in both business and technical contexts.
  • Juggle multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
  • Process-oriented with problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.
