Skoolix is looking for a ” Social Media Specialist ” with the following requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Create and curate engaging, high-quality content (text, images, and videos) for social media platforms.
- Plan and schedule posts using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Monitor and engage with followers by responding to comments, direct messages, and managing conversations.
- Create, manage, and optimize paid ad campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as follower growth, engagement, and ad performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and emerging tools.
- Work with influencers, ambassadors, and partners to enhance brand visibility.
- Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.
Required Skills/Experience:
- BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Marketing Specialist.
- Fluency with English language, (fluency with other languages is a plus).
- Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and emerging social media platforms.
- Proficiency in design tools like Canva, Photoshop, or video editing software.
- Experience with social media advertising platforms (Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
- Experience with social media management tools.
- Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and Facebook Business Manager.
- Innovative mindset with a flair for generating creative content ideas.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in EdTech, SaaS, or education-related industries is a plus.
